Provide Healing Support

World class hunting and fishing experiences for our warriors. We believe nature heals.

All 9/11 generation combat veterans are eligible, though DWS' target population is the Special Operations community - the world’s most elite fighting force. This focus comes from the origins of our first 4 guests to make their annual journey to Arkansas in 2002.

Help us build a new retreat cabin! Support our 2023-2024 Nature Heals Campaign

As the needs of our community grow, a new retreat facility with greater capacity and capabilities is necessary to provide year-round programs and services to more of the population that fought our Nation’s longest war.  Having hosted 1,000+ over the past 8 years, we are very proud to our 0.0% suicide rate.

The goal of our 2023-2024 Nature Heals Campaign is to raise $2.5 million for a 9,000 square foot multi-functional facility that will meet the current and future needs of the Special Operations community.  It will be entirely funded by the generosity of patriots who recognize the sacrifice – like you!
